The original building was established in 1987 and back then, known as Sea Harvest. According to news sources, when the previous business closed its doors, Three men set out to bring the no shoes, no shirt, no problem vibe to New Smyrna Beach. After a few heart pounding hurricanes, a flu that was named after one of their local’s favorite beers, and what was left of the old riverfront dock and building, the group decided to scrap everything and start anew. They rebuilt it all, everything from the stainless steel high end kitchen to the brand new dock! They wanted to create the same laid back vibe that they built at the world famous Ocean Deck. If you’ve never heard about the Daytona Beach hot spot, Ocean Deck is known by the locals and tourists as the most entertaining and hunger satisfying venue with their great food and live music. Ocean Deck has featured many local known artists and has been known to host quite a few celebrities, too!

In addition to delicious food, groovy entertainment, and laid back vibes, both locations boast some of the best views in their respective cities. Riverdeck sits right next to the marina on the intracoastal at the eastern end of Canal Street. From the open air seating areas you get full river views where you can see dolphins splashing about and birds gracefully flying into the horizon. This restaurant has been the talk of the town for close to 3 years and is finally opening its doors mid January. We are excited to bring the whole office there for lunch.
